"Padmashree” HARIHARAN & SARANGAN Sriranganathan LIVE IN CONCERT.
Sydney audiences have the opportunity to see Hariharan and Sarangan in concert with an entourage of more than 30 instrumentalists, singers and dancers on stage. “SRUTHI” promises to be a fantastic night filled with colour, soulful singing and the irrepressible rhythms and melodies listeners will remember forever.
Hariharan and Sarangan will be releasing their duet songs, “Aval Pennalla” penned by Pa. Vijay and “Paasam sumanthu” penned by Vairamuthu at the event.
One of the specialties of this production is that the organizers have invited Eelam Tamil musicians matching the number of Indian Tamil musicians invited for this mega event.

Hariharan, two-time National award winner and the recipient of the prestigious “Padma shree” award, is the undisputed king of contemporary Indian music. An established ghazal and playback singer, his songs embrace Indian, Western and Asian influences, connecting with hearts and minds all over the world. Hariharan holds privilege of inaugurating Common Wealth Games with his composition and rendition of "Swaghatham Song". Professional singing for last 34 years, having sung over 5000 songs in various languages, Hariharan is always ready to experiment and explore with a new style to create a Soulful music.
Hariharan has collaborated with Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Illayaraja, AR Rahman, Leslei Lewis, Strings, Daler Mehndi, Ustaad Rashid Mustafa, Ustad Liyaqat Ali Khan, Deva, Vidyasagar and many more.
