Late Dr.RATNAVADIVEL
He passed away peacefully on Friday
22nd June 2018 at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney
Dr Ratnavadivel, a Pathologist, was the former
Assistant JMO (Judicial Medical Officer) of Colombo.
He was the eldest son of the late Dr Kandiah Kanagasabapathy
(Former Medical Practitioner of Navalar Road, Jaffna. Born in Inuvil) and Savundarambigai
(Daughter of Periathamby Murugapillai).
Beloved husband of Dr (Mrs) Kunarathy Ratnavadivel (Former
Anaesthetist at Wanganui Base Hospital in New Zealand). Daughter of Arumugam
Sinnathamby and Analakshmi.
Beloved father to his eldest son Dr Rajeev Ratnavadivel
(Sleep & Respiratory Physician, Gosford Hospital), father-in-law to
Brijanthi (Senior Counsel, daughter of Prakashpathy and Gunalingam) and grandfather
to Maran and Lakshi.
Beloved father to his daughter Dr (Mrs) Sureka Thiagalingam
(Ophthalmologist), father-in-law to Dr Aravinda Thiagalingam (Cardiologist,
Westmead Hospital, son of Dr & Dr (Mrs) Thiagalingam of New Zealand) and
grandfather to Arjuna and Sajan.
Beloved father to his youngest son Dr Arun Ratnavadivel
(Anaesthetist, Nepean Hospital), father-in-law to Petra (Health Management, of Germany)
and grandfather to Luca, Alessa and Sasha.
Beloved brother to Sethunayaky (Toronto & U.S.A),
Ratnapoopathy (deceased), Sanmuganathan (Canada), Pankajadevy (Jaffna),
Manonmany (Jaffna) and Satkurunathan (deceased).
