Aadal Velvi is a celebration of Indian Classical dance and therefore, it could not be more fitting that this year it will host world renowned, Bharathanatya dancer Priyadarsini Govind.
As Martha Graham states, “dance is the hidden language of the soul.” This statement can truly be realised in the beautiful 'abinaya' and artistry that Priyadarsini Govind brings to each and every performance.
A dancer who hails from the tutelage of Kalaimamani S.K. Rajarathnam Pillai and Padma Bhushan Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan, her repertoires represent innovation in tradition and mastery in expression!
Through her performance at our first ever Aadal Velvi, we hope to provide the opportunity for budding dancers and art lovers to procure from this illustrious artist.
