Srilankan Tamil community has been identified as the one of the lowest screening rate in breast cancer
The Australian Medical Aid Foundation's Junior Branch are running another free health expo for members of the Sri Lankan community.
This expo will feature talks on how to prevent cancer and how screening saves life

This is a free event. Once again, you will have the opportunity to have your blood pressure, weight, and BMI tested if you wish.
A Breast Cancer screening van will also be available on site over that whole weekend that is 6th & 7th of August .
So please invite your friends and family to learn more about staying healthy and preventing cancer.

As Gps we see many communities detect cancer early and live normal life for many years yet it is very heartbreaking to see our community people avoid the screening and suffer from late diagnosis
